The patterns in this collection are carefully pressed with vintage wooden block prints, whose carved designs were traditionally used to create repeating patterns on textiles. Their slight irregularities, organic lines, and enduring motifs are part of what makes them so beautiful.
I was drawn to these patterns because they feel both familiar and timeless—decorative without feeling overly ornate, and rooted in the beauty of traditional craftsmanship.

Each piece is individually crafted and finished in my California studio. The vintage-inspired patterns are carefully translated onto the ceramic surface, preserving the organic quality and character of the original block-print designs.
