We must slow down enough to ask whether a piece truly fits your pace of life, if it gives you the feeling you want, and if it reflects your lifestyle. Choose objects because you genuinely love them, not because they're trending or because you feel as though you need to fill an empty corner. If we add unintentional clutter to our homes, it can create an anxious, fast paced, and busy environment.
Some of the most elegant homes aren't the ones with the most decor, they're the ones where every object has a purpose. That purpose might be practical, artistic, or deeply sentimental. Whatever the reason, the intention is a home that has a slower pace with feelings of authenticity and peace.

When we own fewer things, we tend to appreciate them more.
